Administrative and Research Translation Core

The Administrative Core oversees research progress and coordinates center activities at the level of the Executive Committee and External Advisory Board. It promotes integration and interaction within the Center by coordinating internal project and core research presentations, a public scientific Speaker Series, a trainee Work-in-Progress seminar series, and an annual Center-wide scientific Retreat.  The Administrative Core provides central administration and fiscal management and ensures compliance with NIH and university requirements.

The Research Translation branch is responsible for communicating and disseminating research findings, data models, and related information from the program to a range of audiences including the general public, the scientific community and policy makers. This website, our social media outlets, videos, podcasts, peer-reviewed publications, presentations at conferences, seminar series, journal articles, interactions with the media and decision-makers: these are all opportunities to communicate what we are doing, how we are doing it, what we hope to learn, and then what we really do learn. But it’s not just about one-way communication: it’s a dialogue. We want to hear from you!
